Empowering Young Minds: Aditya Foundation’s Primary Health Awareness Program in Partnership with Primus Super Speciality Hospital
At Aditya Foundation, we believe that knowledge is power, especially when it comes to health and well-being. Today, in collaboration with Primus Super Speciality Hospital, we had the privilege of organizing a Primary Health Awareness Program at a local school. This initiative was designed to educate young students on essential first aid techniques and emergency response steps, such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
Why Health Awareness Matters
In critical moments, knowing how to respond swiftly can be the difference between life and death. Our aim is to empower students with the ability to take action in emergencies—whether it’s helping someone who’s choking, dealing with minor injuries, or performing CPR on someone in distress. By starting health education early, we hope to create a generation that is not only aware of its own health but also equipped to assist others.
What We Taught: Key First Aid & Emergency Techniques
During the session, our team of experts, alongside doctors and healthcare professionals from Primus Super Speciality Hospital, engaged students in hands-on demonstrations of the following:
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation): Students learned the steps to revive someone whose heart has stopped beating, understanding the crucial role that CPR plays in emergency situations.
- Basic First Aid: Techniques such as how to treat cuts, burns, and bruises were covered, ensuring students know how to administer immediate care before professional help arrives.
- Handling Emergencies: We focused on how to assess situations quickly and stay calm while providing assistance, including how to respond to choking, fainting, or breathing difficulties.
Making Health Education Engaging
To make the session engaging, we used interactive tools and real-life scenarios, encouraging students to participate actively. The students asked insightful questions and eagerly practiced the skills they were taught under the guidance of medical professionals.
The Road Ahead: Continuous Learning and Awareness
This health awareness program is just the beginning. Aditya Foundation, along with Primus Super Speciality Hospital, plans to continue these awareness programs in schools across the region. Our goal is to build a community that is equipped with basic medical knowledge, fostering a safer and more informed society.
